Dr. Rohan Jowallah

Senior Instructional Designer and Adjunct Faculty   


Dr Jowallah holds an Ed.D. in Language and Literacy in Education from the University of Sheffield, an M.Ed. in Special Needs and Inclusion Studies from The Open University, and a BSc in Psychology from The Open University. Furthermore, he also holds certifications as a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning, Secondary Education and Social Work in Higher Education from the University of Wolverhampton, a Diploma in Secondary Education from Bethlehem Moravian College, and a certificate in Social Work from The University of the West Indies School of Continuing Studies.

While holding the prominent post of senior instructional designer at University of Central Florida, Dr. Jowallah holds a prominent position as a Senior Instructional Designer at the University of Central Florida, and concurrently maintains adjunct faculty roles at two other prestigious universities. In addition to his commendable career in academia, He is also a published author. Dr. Jowallah is and an active participant in several committees exploring the integration of technology in education. His expertise has been sought after on numerous occasions, evidenced by invitations to speak at several conferences and international forums dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI).

Initiating his foray into AI in education in 2016, Dr. Jowallah has since become a well-recognized figure in the field. His prolific output includes the creation of over 60 videos on technology in education, fostering a lively community where he shares his vast knowledge on AI developments.
