Norlette Leslie Yearde, started working as a Manager in the Syllabus and Curriculum Development Department at the Caribbean Examinations Council in June 2016. Having obtained her Masters in Curriculum Development from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Mrs Leslie Yearde worked as a teacher educator in Jamaica where she taught courses in curriculum development, philosophy, psychology and assessment. She was also involved in programme and course development activities at the tertiary level.

As a certified credentialing specialist, her current role as a Manager at CXC sees her being involved in qualifications management activities that include developing new qualifications and maintaining existing qualifications, ensuring their relevance for the Caribbean context. She has also served as a consultant for CXC on regional projects focusing on curriculum rationalisation and teacher certification.
